Zebra Bees

The Zebra Bees are minor characters in the Disney Junior series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. They are a black and white swarm of bees with horse like muzzles, resembling zebras that live in the Rose Valley section of Crimson Isle.

Role in the series[]

The Zebra Bees first appeared in the episode "A Bad Case of the Barnacles!". Jake and his crew discover that their ship, Bucky, is covered with barnacles. Jake and his crew set sail to Crimson Isle to discover the "Zebra Rose", which will cure Bucky's barnacles. Once on Crimson Isle, Jake and his crew are greeted by Red Jessica. Jake and his friends inform Red Jessica of their plight and ask her if she knew where the Zebra Rose was. Red Jessica pointed her young friends to Rose Valley. As the young pirates make their way through the Rose Valley and uncover the Zebra Rose,But are quickly confronted by a small swarm of Zebra Bees. While they were briefly puzzled how they would get pass the swarm and retrieve the Zebra Rose.Then they recalled that Zebra Bees are afraid of Lion Flies,Jake and his crew imitate the roar of a Lion Fly, scaring the swarm of Zebra Bees away.
