- “ Like the terrible Two-toothed tiger! ”
- ―Bones
The Two-toothed tiger is a minor character from the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. He is a small Saber-toothed cat. Despite its small and adorable appearance it is said to be one of the most fearsome creatures to live within the section of Never Land known as Deep Dark Valley. His vocal effects are provided by Dee Bradley Baker.
Role in the series[]
The Two-toothed tiger first appeared in the episode "Where's Mama Hook?" After losing the jasmine leaves, Mama Hook gets the wrong map and instead of going to Peaceful Valley, she goes to Deep Dark Valley instead and when she gets lost, Captain Hook and Jake join forces to find her. As Hook and his crew split up from Jake's to search deeper into Deep Dark Valley Sharky and Bones become nervous briefly mentioning the Two-toothed tiger as one of the most fearsome creatures to live in the valley. The Two-toothed tiger later confronts Hook and his crew as it emerges from the brush, Mr. Smee, Sharky and Bones were instinctively terrified of it but Captain Hook scoffed at the tiger believing it was merely a kitten as he pets it and scratches the Two-toothed tiger under the chin. The Two-toothed tiger affectionately rubs up against Hook before grooming its paws. Smee, Sharky, and Bones nervously back away from the small cat, claiming it is the Two-toothed tiger. Hook laughed at how ridiculous his crew were afraid of a cat. That was until the Two-toothed tiger releases a mighty roar sending Hook and his crew fleeing deeper into Deep Dark Valley. The Two-toothed tiger later reappears at the end of the episode as it sneaks aboard the Jolly Roger scaring Sharky and Bones up the rigging with the tiger in pursuit. Captain Hook ignores his crew-mates cries for help as he savors his mother's jasmine tea.
