The Tortuga Triangle is three islands far from the shores of Never Land featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. The Tortuga Triangle is where the Mighty Colossus is said to have sunk during its battle with the Strake.
Role in the series[]
Tortuga Triangle first appeared in the episode special "The Great Never Sea Conquest". Captain Hook has been following Jake and his crew to the Tortuga Triangle without any sleep, in hopes of swiping the treasure they may uncover. Finally reaching the Tortuga Triangle, Jake and his crew began their search for Captain Colossus's sunken battleship, the Mighty Colossus, and its treasure. But the young pirate team's efforts are cut short when Captain Hook intervenes, sending Jake and his crew packing. Captain Hook looks for the Mighty Colossus, but soon concludes that it's a wild goose chase. However, the Jolly Roger's anchor soon gets caught in some rocks. Hook manages to free his ship, but accidentally frees the evil mer-wizard, Lord Fathom, who reunites with his underling, Sinker. Lord Fathom and Sinker leave the Tortuga Triangle, setting their sight on Neptune City, where Fathom tricks Queen Coralie into helping him get the DarkLight Emerald and then imprisons her, Marina, and Stormy as he takes over Neptune City.
