The Practical Pirate's Guide to Completely Convincing Camouflage first appeared in the episode Play It Again, Cubby!,unknown to the Jake and his crew,that they were being spied on by Captain Hook and his crew,Hook was determined to try out different camouflage techniques from his book in order to claim the puny pirates treasure without being detected.The first tactic Hook and his crew used was a boulder disguise.Much to Hook's delight Jake and his crew didn't no it was him,but before Hook and his crew could act they are quickly frighten by Tick-Tock the Crocodile who emerges from out of the brush of the Never Land Jungle.
Later during the adventure to Skybird Island.Winger reveals to her pirate friends that she didn't know the rest of the song but she did suggest they journey to Chi-Chi-Chilly Canyon and ask the penguins if they knew the rest of the song.Jake and his friends quickly soar to the canyon unaware they bypass Hook in some form of flying peddle bike contraption sending the villainous pirates plummeting from the sky.Finally Jake and his crew reach Chi-Chi-Chilly Canyon were they soon found Percy the Penguin Cubby's explains his deli ma to Percy.Percy assured his young friends that he knew the finial verse of the song.After finally learning the rest of the song the young pirates notice the lyrics sound like someone was calling for help and ask Percy did recall where he heard the song coming from.Percy recall the song coming Whirlpool Lagoon.Jake and his friends set off to Whirlpool Lagoon, little do the young pirates know that Hook and his men were hiding amongst the snowmen but fortunately Percy and his penguin friends notice the sneaky pirates and intervene.After returning back to the Jolly Roger Mr. Smee ask Hook if could read from the Practical Pirate's Guide.But Hook informs him that he tired of the book and tossed overboard for its uselessness and storm off into his cabin which soon collapse revealing it was fake and sees the book in the possession of Tick-Tock Croc who chuckles licking his lips, accompanied by a wide smile towards the captain. Hook then screams for Mr. Smee to save him,as he flees across the deck of the ship with the crocodile in pursuit.
