Plot
Jake and his crew are playing with Marina and Stormy in Pirate's Plunge. Cubby mentions that tonight, Brightly and his friends will put on a light show for them on Pirate Island Beach. Meanwhile, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones are in the Never Land Desert searching for treasure when Captain Hook stumbles into the lever, which causes an hourglass to appear from the sand. Sharky mentions that hourglasses were used to tell time before clocks. Captain Hook sees that it holds sands of gold when Mr. Smee warns him that it is the Never Sands of Time, which controls night and day in Never Land, and mentions how it works. As Captain Hook tries to break the golden sand out, Mr. Smee mentions that the Never Sands of Time are supposed to be guarded by a giant Sand Serpent, who then appears. As he chases the crew, he knocks the Never Sands of Time out of its original place, causing night and day to be mixed up, which Jake's crew, Marina, and Stormy notice. Izzy knows about the Never Sands and how it is supposed to be guarded by a Sand Serpent, and Jake and his crew decide to find out what happened to it.
They then arrive at where the hourglass that holds the Never Sands of Time is supposed to be, but it is gone. Skully then spots it, and Jake knows that Captain Hook was responsible for moving it, and Bucky lowers his anchor so that Captain Hook's crew is saved from the sand serpent. After Skully tells him about it, Captain Hook states that he meddled with the Never Sands of Time to get its golden sands. Izzy and Cubby mention that they need to stay in the hourglass or night and day will be mixed up forever. Captain Hook understands, and Jake and his crew go to get the hourglass back on its stand.
Afterwards, Captain Hook states that he'll go after the golden sand after Jake and his crew are out of his way, and ignores Mr. Smee's warnings. Meanwhile, the Sand Serpent is guarding the Never Sands of Time, and Brightly goes to get her friends and show the serpent her night light show. Later, the sand serpent leaves to see the show, and Jake and Captain Hook's crews have to be quiet so the serpent doesn't notice them. However, Captain Hook is trying to get the golden sands, and night and day get mixed up again, alerting the Sand Serpent with the crews giving chase. Eventually, the Sand Serpent falls down a cliff with Captain Hook and the hourglass. So, Izzy uses her Pixie Dust to save them. Jake tells the Sand Serpent that his crew are only trying to fix his hourglass. The Sand Serpent understands, and gives the crews a ride with Izzy placing the Never Sands of Time where it belongs, making it day again, which Marina and Stormy notice. Jake then places the Never Sands of Time back underneath the sand, and Izzy tells the Sand Serpent that their crew promise no one will touch it again. Captain Hook reluctantly agrees before being licked by the Sand Serpent.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Brightly's night light show then begins, with the fireflies forming Jake's sword, Cubby's map, and Izzy's Pixie Dust. On the Jolly Roger, Sharky's wrist hourglass is working, but Captain Hook never wants to see another hourglass. Sharky mentions that the hourglass is needed to check the time, as their fancy tickity-tock clock broke. A ticking sound is then heard, and Tick-Tock the Crocodile appears and chases Captain Hook around the deck of the Jolly Roger.
