Plot
Jake, Izzy, Cubby and Skully are at Mermaid Lagoon getting surf lessons from their mermaid friend Marina. After Izzy's lesson, Captain Hook shows up, disguised as a mermaid, which Skully notices, followed by Jake. Captain Hook claims that he had to take a look at the surfboard and wants to have a turn. Skully pulls Captain Hook's tail, causing to fall into the Never Sea. Izzy knows him as Captain Hook, and a sea monster arrives, which is actually Mr. Smee. As he claims it wasn't his idea, Captain Hook steals the surfboard with his fishing rod-hook before making off with Mr. Smee.
Jake and his crew, accompanied by Marina set off to take back their treasure. They follow footprints from Mr. Smee's swim fins. According to Cubby's map, the footprints are pointing to the Red River, which joins with the Blue River and the Yellow River, where they all turn into the Rainbow River, which goes straight to Rainbow Falls. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee come across Tick-Tock the Crocodile sleeping next to the Red River. Captain Hook accidentally wakes Tick-Tock Croc by bumping his snout with the surfboard, resulting into Hook and Smee riding down the river at incredible speeds with the crocodile in pursuit.Jake and his crew take a shortcut to the Rainbow River by traveling down Blue River.
With Captain Hook and Mr. Smee going down the Rainbow River, Marina gives Jake the idea of getting into the water and swimming down the river instead while grabbing onto logs. Soon, Jake and his crew are going down the river faster when Captain Hook and Smee spot Rainbow Falls ahead. So, they grab onto vines to leave the surfboard. Captain Hook decides to give Jake and his crew the surfboard, as he thinks it's no fun at all. Jake and Marina swim up to the board before it falls and just before they do instead, Izzy throws her pixie dust onto the surfboard having Jake and Marina fly through the sky on it. Meanwhile, Captain Hook refuses a ride back to shore.
After the ride Jake and his crew drop Marina off at Mermaid Lagoon and put all the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest before having a surf party. While they're surfing, Hook frees himself from the vine by landing on Tick-Tock Croc, mistaking him for a log, who chases Captain Hook through the river.
