The Soprano Bird is a minor character from the Disney Junior television series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. She's a small pink bird with a lovely singing voice living on Never Land. Her vocal effects are provided by Dee Bradley Baker.

Role in the series

The Soprano Bird first appeared in the episode "Bones' Lucky Doubloon!" Bones enlist the help of Jake and his crew to find the lost treasure of Queen Hipporlita with the aid of his grandfather lucky gold doubloon. While searching for the treasure Bones flips his lucky gold doubloon into the air as the doubloon rolls to a stop right in front of a sign where the Soprano Bird made her nest. Jake and his friends marvel at the beauty of the Soprano Bird's singing. Jake and his friend soon follow the path the sign pointed in hopes of finding the treasure. Unknown to Bones, Jake and the rest of his crew, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee and Sharky were following them in hopes of the puny pirates would lead Hook to the treasure. But Hook soon grow impatient insulting the Soprano Bird singing. Furious at Captain Hook's remarks the Soprano Bird kicks her nest at the greedy pirate captain before flying off.

The Soprano Bird reappears in the episode "Mystery of the Missing Treasure!" when Jake and his crew found a feather left behind by the culprit who stole the Team Treasure Chest on Pirate Island,Skully suggest they journey to Buccaneer Bird Bluff. The young pirates ask the Soprano Bird, the Never Bird and the Sing-Songbird if they could identify the feather, however, the Soprano Bird and Never Bird didn't recognize the feather but the Sing-Songbird revealed to the young pirates that the feather belongs to Fast Claw the falcon who belongs to sneaky thieving pirate Beatrice Le Beak.
