The Soccer ball is object featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It was one of the various early treasure washes onto Pirate Island beach.
Role in the series[]
The Soccer ball makes a brief cameo appearance in the episode"Bucky Makes a Splash" it can be seen as Jake and his crew sneak back aboard Bucky on a rafter inside his cabin.
The Soccer ball first appeared in the episode The Race to Never Peak!,Cubby spots the soccer ball washing onto shore, Jake and the crew begin playing soccer. But during the game, Captain Hook spies Jake and his friends enjoying a the soccer ball and desired the treasure for himself, using his plunger-hook the greedy captain manages to catch the ball so he could take it back to Never Land for his own fun.While on the Shipwreck Beach, Hook couldn't understand why the soccer ball wasn't bouncing about as it once did in the possession of the sea pups.Mr. Smee suggested giving the soccer ball a little kick.Hook kicks the ball which bounce into a cannon among the shipwrecks and blast all the way to the top of Never Peak Mountain. Hook and Smee soon rush through the Never Land Jungle to retrieve the ball unknown to the duo Jake and the crew soon arrive on the island overhearing Hook spout the location of the soccer ball and the race to Never Peak begins.
The Soccer ball reappears in the episode "The Elephant Surprise!",it was among the various toys Captain Hook and Mr. Smee steal using the wooden elephant to sneak into Jake and his crew Treasure Room on Pirate Island.
