Plot
The Jolly Roger arrives at Crimson Isle, where Mr. Smee will meet First-Mate Mollie at Red Jessica's Pirate Convention. She is the one who inspired Mr. Smee to become a First Mate. First-Mate Mollie is also helping Red Jessica host the PirateCon, and Mr. Smee assumes he'll dance with First-Mate Mollie at the pirate party. He's recently been practicing the Buccaneer Jig. Mr. Smee assumes it will be the best day ever, and Captain Hook decides to show Red Jessica that he's the best buccaneer of all. The winner of the vine swinging contest gets to lead the Grand Pirate Ship Parade. Mr. Smee trips on a bucket and slides across the Jolly Roger, making it a mess. Captain Hook orders Mr. Smee to clean it up immediately and afterwards, keep watch and make sure it remains spotless. Mr. Smee is sad, as he will miss the Pirate Convention and never get to meet First-Mate Mollie if he does so.
Captain Hook, Sharky, and Bones then head to the Pirate Convention while Jake and his crew are also sailing there. They then meet Mr. Smee, who tells them about being ordered to keep the Jolly Roger shipshape for the Grand Pirate Ship Parade. Mr. Smee wishes there was a way he could go to the convention, and Pip the Pirate Genie shows up, having heard it. Mr. Smee wishes for the Jolly Roger to be shipshape again, and Pip cleans up the mess immediately. Since Mr. Smee still has to keep watch over the ship, Pip shrinks it into a tiny boat. Mr. Smee can take the Jolly Roger with him wherever he goes, and he can go to the convention and meet First-Mate Mollie. Jake and his crew then decide for Captain Hook to see Mr. Smee but not know that it is him.
Pip then summons a golden sail wagon with Tick-Tock the Crocodile pulling it and transforms Mr. Smee, complete with a new outfit and gold boots. Mr. Smee thanks Pip, who warns him that the magic will last until the foghorn blows three times. After that, Mr. Smee must head to the dock. Jake motivates Mr. Smee to meet First-Mate Mollie, and Mr. Smee decides to do so.
Jake's crew, Pip, and Mr. Smee then head to the convention. There, Red Jessica thanks First-Mate Mollie for helping with the convention. Captain Hook arrives with Sharky and Bones cheering for him. Captain Hook is delighted to see Red Jessica again, and First-Mate Mollie knows him as the sneakiest snook in Never Land. Red Jessica tells Captain Hook where Mr. Smee is, and Captain Hook mentions that he is keeping watch over the Jolly Roger. Mr. Smee then arrives, and Red Jessica and First-Mate Mollie like his look.
Mr. Smee is welcomed to the Pirate Convention and is a big fan of First-Mate Mollie. He introduces himself as Buck Buccaneer and is shown by Red Jessica and First-Mate Mollie about what the Pirate Convention offers. Sharky and Bones sing about Buck Buccaneer, but Captain Hook decides to show Red Jessica that the theory is false. Jake's crew and Pip notice this and decides to prevent Captain Hook from Mr. Smee's good time.
It is time for the swinging vine swing challenge, where pirates must grab a vine, rescue the fair maiden, and swing to the other side. The winner will lead the Grand Pirate Ship Parade. After Sharky and Bones fail, Buck Buccaneer attempts to complete the challenge. Captain Hook attempts to foul him up, but thanks to a warning by Jake, Mr. Smee rescues the maiden before the chandelier falls with Captain Hook. Since Buck Buccaneer won, he will lead the Grand Pirate Ship Parade after the dance.
Later, Captain Hook decides to show Red Jessica that he is the best buccaneer. While he does his own fancy footwork, Sharky and Bones will keep everyone busy with their music. Buck Buccaneer is preparing for the dance when Jake reminds him about the foghorn blowing three times. Buck Buccaneer decides to dance fast, and is told by Red Jessica about where Captain Hook is. Buck Buccaneer decides to dance with Red Jessica. Sharky and Bones then play the music while Captain Hook meets up with First-Mate Mollie, deciding to dance with her before sweeping Buck Buccaneer off of his feet.
Jake knows Captain Hook wants to trip up Buck Buccaneer and warns Buck Buccaneer about it. After being told by Jake, Buck Buccaneer dances the Buccaneer Jig so that Captain Hook misses. He then gets sent into the table, causing the cake on it to land on him. The foghorn blows the first time, and Jake tells Buck Buccaneer to head to the dock immediately. Buck Buccaneer then thanks First-Mate Mollie and Red Jessica for everything before heading to the dock. He then leaves one of his boots behind as the foghorn blows the second time.
Izzy uses her Pixie Dust on Jake's crew and Buck Buccaneer so that he heads to the dock just as the third foghorn blasts. The Jolly Roger is then placed in the water just as the magic runs out, turning it to its normal size and Buck Buccaneer to Mr. Smee. Mr. Smee worries that First-Mate Mollie will never know that Buck Buccaneer was really Mr. Smee. Later, while Jake and his crew are cleaning up Bucky, Red Jessica and First-Mate Mollie arrive with the missing boot. First-Mate Mollie is sad about never getting to a pirate jig with Buck Buccaneer.
On the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook tells Mr. Smee that he found the Pirate Convention to be dull and dreary. He also claims Buck Buccaneer to be a buffoon when Red Jessica and First-Mate Mollie arrive with Jake and his crew, searching for the one pirate the boot fits. Mr. Smee tries it on, and it fits perfectly. As a result, Mr. Smee is proven to be Buck Buccaneer. Mr. Smee assumes that it was some enchanted evening, and Captain Hook sadly tells Red Jessica that she can dance with Mr. Smee forever. Red Jessica mentions that it was First-Mate Mollie who was looking for Mr. Smee, and Captain Hook happily states that Red Jessica still likes him. First-Mate Mollie is delighted and tells Mr. Smee that he is the most swashbuckling buccaneer she's ever known. They then dance, and later, Mr. Smee leads the Grand Pirate Ship Parade. During the parade, First-Mate Mollie agrees to be Red Jessica's first mate.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Izzy and Jake reveal to have an invitation to Cubby's Coconut Convention, which Cubby mentions that there will be activities relating to coconuts. Meanwhile, Red Jessica and First-Mate Mollie bid farewell to Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, who then fall into the Never Sea. They agree that today is the best day ever.
