Skullenbones Rock is located deep with in Never Land Jungle. The only way to safely pass the location is to the Skullenbones Stomp on the correct stepping stones.
Role in the series[]
Skullenbones Rock first appeared in the episode "Jake's Jungle Groove", While trying to evade Jake and his crew, the mischievous Monkey flees into Skullenbones Rock with Peter Pan's bongos. Jake and his crew soon arrive at Skullenbones Rock,Cubby informs Jake he must do the Skullenbones Stomp in order to reach the bongos,However Captain Hook was on the trail of the bongos, bent on destroying them do to sound they make cause Hook to dance uncontrollably. As Hook attempt to climb up Skullenbones Rock, the Monkey begins to play the bongo, forcing Hook to dance the Skullenbones Stomp in the wrong order up Skullenbones Rock,Hook is sent hurling into the sky.With the help of his mateys keeping the beat, Jake was able to do the Skullenbones Stomp up to Skullenbones Rock and confront the monkey.Jake informs the Monkey that he was really good at playing the bongos, but taking them without asking was wrong.Much to the monkey's regret,however Jake decides to forgive the monkey and invites him to play the bongos again at the party back on Pirate Island. Overjoyed the monkey agrees and hands the bongos back to Jake as the duo start to make their way down Skullenbones Rock,Captain Hook claws his way up, demanding that Jake handover the bongos.Jake refuses informing the captain that they will be return to Pirate Island with their new friend, as he pass the bongos back to the monkey, suggesting he play a tune for Hook.The monkey begin to play the bongos once more causing Captain Hook to dance uncontrollably once more,Hook muster enough strength to fight the bongos control and attempt to reach out to the monkey and the bongos,in order to evade Hook the monkey stumbles away but is left dangling over the cliff side of Skullenbones Rock with the bongos.Jake calls out to Izzy that this is emergency,Izzy quickly leaps into action using her pixie dust, to fly herself and Cubby up to help the monkey and recover the bongos.Captain Hook attempts to stop Izzy but loses his footing and is left dangling over the cliff.Cubby offer to assist Hook, but the captain scoff at Cubby's request, claiming he can save himself.Izzy soon sprinkles pixie dust on Jake, and the young pirates make their way back to Pirate Island with the monkey and bongos.Skullenbones Rock is last seen as Mr. Smee call out to Captain Hook that he is on his way to save him as he does the Skullenbones Stomp up Skullenbones Rock.
