Run Aground Rocks is a large rock formation within the Never Sea near Never Land featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Many pirates are wary sailing theses dangerous waters.
Role in the series[]
Run Aground Rocks first appeared in the episode "The Old Shell Game", Izzy finds a pink polka-dotted shell wash onto Pirate Island beach, she decides to put it on display in her shell collection. Captain Hook, sees Izzy's Shell shell, and keeps it for himself, to add it to his collection. Hook manages to steal it from the sea pups. Jake and his crew quickly climb aboard Bucky and heads off after the Jolly Roger. Jake decides to first ask nicely, but Hook tells them that he will never give it back. Mr. Smee notices that the shell is missing, and both pirate groups find that it’s floating on a log in the Never Sea. As it travels through Run Aground Rocks, both ships have to avoid the rock formations, but Jake’s ship Bucky sets up the raft for the group. Between Hook’s rowboat and Jake’s raft, it’s a race for the shell.

Run Aground Rocks makes a brief appearance in the episode "Go, Bucky Go!", Jake explains to the viewers how to sail Bucky through the various hazards of the Never Sea while trying to evade Captain Hook.
