The Royal Ruins is a lost forgotten castle ruins located deep within Never Land featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It is where the Princess Treasure was hidden.

Role in the series

The Royal Ruins first appeared in the episode "Princess Power!" While on the search for the Princess Treasure, Jake and his crew accompanied by the Pirate Princess and princess Winger travel through the Never Land Jungle to the ruins unaware that Captain Hook, Sharky, and Bones disguised as princesses follow in order to beat them to the treasure. After making their way through Tiara Tunnel and Majesty Mountain the pirates finally reach the ruins and uncover the treasure. The only means to open the chest was a princess's song,Izzy, Winger and the Pirate Princess sing, and the treasure is revealed to be magical charm bracelets for Izzy and the princesses. Just as the young pirate team and the princesses were about to leave, Captain Hook and his crew arrived, blocking their departure. Hook declared that no one will be leaving until he obtained the treasure. Izzy tried to reason with the captain, explaining that the treasure was meant only for princesses. However, Hook stubbornly refused to listen, believing that if he wore a princess dress, the treasure would rightfully be his, even if he had to seize it. Undeterred, Izzy, Winger, and the Pirate Princess utilized the power of the Princess Treasure on Hook and his crew. This unleashed a beam that disintegrated the villainous pirates' clothes, leaving the trio utterly embarrassed. They were forced to retreat in shame back to the Jolly Roger, allowing Jake and his friends to escape with the treasure.
