Roaring River is a large river that flow through Never Land featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. The only means of crossing the river is a log bridge.
Role in the series[]
Roaring River first appeared in the episode "The Sword and the Stone." While searching for treasure Captain Hook and Mr. Smee stumbles upon a mysterious stone door that can only be opened by a sword. So, Hook steals Jake's wooden sword that Peter Pan gave to him. As Hook and Smee try to escape from Jake and his crew by crossing Roaring River, Hook soon kicks the large log bridge into the river to prevent the young pirate from pursuing him. However, Jake soon gets the idea, with the help of Izzy's Pixie Dust rising the log from the river and Skully flying over and pushing the log back into place allowing Jake and his crew to cross and retrieve three more gold doubloons.
