The Red River is one of the multi-colored rivers that flows through the Never Land Jungle featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. The Red River along with the other multi-colored rivers form together as the Rainbow River that ends at Rainbow Falls.
Role in the series[]
The Red River first appeared in the episode "Surfin' Turf", after Izzy's surfing lesson, the surfboard is stolen by Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Jake and his crew, accompanied by Marina set off to take back their treasure. While evading Jake and his friends Hook and Smee come across Red River but Tick-Tock the Crocodile was fast asleep blocking the path, Smee tries to warn Hook of the danger but the greedy captain scolds Smee for ordering him around causing the tip of surfboard to brush across Tick-Tock's snout, waking the crocodile from his slumber, resulting in Hook and Smee riding down the river at incredible speeds with the crocodile in pursuit. Jake and company soon come across the Red River and were puzzled how they would manage to catch up to Hook. Marina gives Jake the idea of getting into the water and swimming down the river.
