Plot
Jake and his crew gather around the campfire and finish a story. Pip the Pirate Genie overhears Skully wanting to hear another story and arrives. He sings about the tales of adventure through history he has. Pip tells Jake and his crew a tale titled Sing-Bad the Sailor.
Long ago, there lived a young sailor named Sing-Bad, famous for being strong. Sharky and Bones think of Sing-Bad as his hero, and Sing-Bad is also known for singing badly. One day, Sing-Bad was in the desert searching for treasure with Jakeel and Izmar. Jakell wonders where the City of Gold is, and revealed to have traded water bottles for a map. Sing-Bad spots an oasis, where he, Jakeel, and Izmar refresh themselves in its cool waters. Sing-Bad is about to sing, but Jakell and Izmar tell him to head home. Hookhafa shows up, accusing Jakeel, Izmar, and Sing-Bad for trespassing on the oasis without permission. Skully-Mungous seizes them and takes them to Hookhafa's lair.
Jakeel states that he, Izmar, and Sing-Bad are innocent, but Hookhafa refuses to believe it and plans to punish them by turning them into camels. Hookhafa provides an example that a camel (which is actually Mr. Smee) was once a human. He sings a tune to open a magical cabinet and grabs an orange powder used to turn humans into camels. The blue powder reverses the process. Jakeel and Izmar are turned into camels, but Hookhafa is out of orange powder. He closes the cabinet before Mr. Smee cages Sing-Bad. However, Sing-Bad breaks out of the cage but is unable to open the cabinet. Sing-Bad knows that a specific tune is needed to open the cabinet, and he fails the first time. After persuasion by Jakeel and Izmar, Sing-Bad tries again, and sings good for the first time, opening the cabinet. Sing-Bad changes Jakeel and Izmar back to humans. Hookhafa arrives and sees Sing-Bad escaped. He is then surprised by Jakeel, Izmar, and Sing-Bad, causing him to trip on the orange powder, turning himself into a camel. Sing-Bad then changes Mr. Smee back to normal, and Mr. Smee asks for a favor. Sing-Bad later changes Skully-Mungous back to normal. Mr. Smee gives Jakeel, Izmar, and Sing-Bad five gold dinars. Sing-Bad tries to turn Hookhafa back to normal but is out of blue powder. Hookhafa remained a camel while touring the countryside performing tricks. Although he was an evil wizard, he was a very good camel.
Jake and his crew like the story, and Cubby reveals to have ate Skully's crackers. This reminds Pip of another story: Skully-Baba and the Treasure Thieves. Long ago, there lived a crew consisting of Jake-har, Izmeen, and Cubdula. They were very poor and hungry. Whatever they ate were those they fished from the sea. Skully-Baba was their pet parrot, and a big help. Jake-har throws a net and his crew hauls it in to reveal that they retrieved boots. Skully-Baba claims that things will get better, but wasn't so sure in his heart.
The next morning, Skully-Baba was gathering twigs for firewood when the Four Thieves arrive. They were known for stealing from the rich and the poor, and the sneakiest snook of them was their leader, Hook-Far. He opens a secret treasure cave with a magic entrance to store his treasure. As Hook-Far and the Four Thieves go to get more treasure, Skully-Baba opens the cave to reveal the treasure it contains. Skully-Baba decides to take one little pearl to take to Jake-har, Izmeen, and Cubdula.
Izmeen shows Jake-har and Cubdula the pearl hidden in an old boot. They go to the marketplace and trade it for food, which they enjoy. Skully-Baba feels happy about it, but when the food didn't last long and the fishing didn't get better, Skully-Baba went back to the cave to get more treasure when the Four Thieves return. They are searching for the thief with Skully-Baba revealing himself to Bones. Skully-Baba manages to trip the thieves up and send them retreating.
Meanwhile, Jake-har, Izmeen, and Cubdula are continuing their fishing when Skully-Baba tells them about the Four Thieves searching for him after he stole a pearl. Skully-Baba knew it was wrong and learned his lesson. Jake-har has an idea to catch the crooks the same way his crew catches fish. When the Four Thieves arrive, Skully-Baba reveals himself to them, vowing to tell everyone about the cave of loot. As the Four Thieves are distracted, they get netted by Jake-har and his crew. Izmeen tells the thieves that they will be locked up in a place where they'll have a long time-out. After the stolen treasure was returned, Skully-Baba and his friends were given gold dinars for capturing the Four Thieves, and they never went hungry again. Also, Skully-Baba was so happy and from now on, he was honest and surrounded by his grateful friends and crackers.
Jake and his crew praise the story and Pip gives them ten gold dinars, five from Sing-Bad and five from Skully-Baba, which they put into their Team Treasure Chest. Skully knows that Skully-Baba was quite a guy and reminds him of someone he knows. Jake mentions that Hook-Far was just like a sneaky snook he and his crew knows. Speaking of Hook-Far, he escaped and he tried to hide in his treasure cave, but someone else had moved in, that being Tick-Tock Croc, who chases Hook-Far away.
