Monkey Picchu is a location featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Its a large forgotten monkey temple hidden deep within the Never Land Jungle. Monkey Picchu was once the home of the legendary golden Monkey Tiki.

Role in the series

Monkey Picchu first appeared in the episode "Monkey Tiki Trouble",Captain Hook and his crew discover a map leading to the forgotten city, unknown to Hook, he was being followed by King Zongo and his Monkey Pirates from the treetops to the legendary golden Monkey Tiki of Monkey Picchu. After retrieving the golden idol from Monkey Picchu, Zongo attempts to steal the idol from Hook but during the powers struggle the Monkey Tiki caused both Captain Hook and King Zongo to switch bodies
