The Magic Beans are minor objects featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. They play a key role in the episode Jake and the Beanstalk. When planted they grow into a humongous beanstalk that reaches Cloud Island in the sky.
History[]
Sometime before the event of the series, Peter Pan uncover the magic beans and gave them to Jake and his crew before he decided to explore the world outside of Never Land. It was later revealed in the episode Jake and the Beanstalk,Jake kept the magic beans so long in his coats pocket that he almost forgot about them.
Role in the series[]
While posing for a portrait, Jake discovers the magic beans in his coat pocket and a message from from Peter Pan leading to Cloud Island when the magic beans are planted into the ground. Jake and his crew-mates plant the beans and a massive beanstalk quickly grows from Pirate Island into the clouds. Jake and his crew then climb the beanstalk to discover the wonders of Cloud Island and find a Golden Crocodile with golden eggs.Unknown to Jake and his crew at the time, Captain Hook and his men soon discover the beanstalk and follow the young pirates to uncover what secret treasures Cloud Island.When Captain Hook and his crew finally reach the top of the beanstalk Hook was determined to steal the Golden Croc but the golden crocodile proved far to vicious and powerful for Hook and his crew to handle as she chase the villainous pirates across the island until she is lulled back to sleep by Sharky and Bones. With the mother crocodile sound asleep Hook decides to steal the Golden Croc's eggs,no sooner The Golden Crocodile wake up witnessing Hook plundering her eggs, the Golden Crocodile roars sending Hook fleeing across Cloud Island as she pursues him to retrieve her eggs. During the chase both the crocodile and the Captain Hook fall off the island. Izzy quickly used her pixie dust to rescue Hook and the Golden Crocodile.With the danger over, Hook tried one last attempt to flee with the golden eggs until they hatch into baby crocodiles. The baby golden croc are quickly snatch up by their mother and soon leave after thanking Jake and his crew as the beanstalk begins to descend forcing Jake and Hook's crew to leave Cloud Island.
