Plot
Queen Coralie, the leader of Neptune City, is traveling the depths of the Never Sea, and sings a song about how great she is. Her seahorses then stop after they see a big whale, which is blocking the way. The whale then clears the way for Queen Coralie. Meanwhile on Hidden Cove, Stormy, Snappy the Hermit Crab, and Sandy the Starfish are struggling with their humming scales as practice for Marina, who says that Queen Coralie, who doesn't come every day, needs a perfect welcoming pageant. Stormy, Snappy, and Sandy hum the scales in tune this time. The synchronized swimmers then appear. Afterwards, Jake and his crew arrive, with Jake revealing that he wrote the welcoming speech for Coralie. Izzy, Cubby, and Skully brought her gifts from their treasure room. All that's left is for the queen to arrive.
Aboard the Jolly Roger, Sharky and Bones sing a song about fishing for different fish in the Never Sea, and the mischief some of them caused to them. Sharky and Bones then capture Queen Coralie. Captain Hook then arrives and quickly interrupts Sharky and Bones. He introduces himself and tells Coralie that she's going nowhere, stating that a mermaid queen is a rare treasure indeed.
Once all the others finish practicing, Stormy wonders where the queen is. Coralie's horses then arrive without her. Jake finds a note which says that Coralie is being held prisoner and that she will only be set free only after the mermaids give all of the queen's treasures to Captain Hook. Marina says that it's a sad day for the mermaids. Jake and his crew then decide to rescue Queen Coralie from Captain Hook by first talking to him. Marina and Stormy will stay where they are and keep an eye on the treasure, in case Captain Hook has another trick up his sleeve.
On the Jolly Roger, Coralie is sitting in a bathtub and hates it. Mr. Smee says brought her fresh strawberries. Sharky and Bones explain everything to Hook, who later says that keeping Coralie is too much work and that he should have demanded a bigger treasure for her freedom. Just then, Jake and his crew arrive. They refuse to give the treasure to Hook, who has a much better idea. At that time, Captain Hook's crew gives Coralie soup. Captain Hook then releases a hammerhead shark. Bucky then turns into its submarine form to give the shark the slip. Bucky then hides under a shipwreck, which the hammerhead goes after. Jake and his crew continue to chase the Jolly Roger.
Captain Hook, Smee, Sharky, and Bones then take Queen Coralie to a cave, where her new home will be. She will only be here until all her treasure is turned to Hook, which Coralie refuses. Bones revealed that Captain Hook put booby traps all around. Queen Coralie wishes she were safe in her palace or anywhere in Neptune City. She mentions how great Neptune City is. Sharky and Bones like it.
Jake and his crew thank Skully for finding the Jolly Roger, as they are at the cave and heard the song from Queen Coralie. Jake mentions that Captain Hook has set out booby traps, which one of them is set off accidentally by Cubby, blocking the way. Captain Hook then finds Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones decorating the room for Queen Coralie. Captain Hook explains the problem to Coralie, stating that it's rude and selfish behavior. Meanwhile, Cubby uses a seaweed as a lasso to bring the pointy rocks down. It works, and Jake and his crew continue their course for Queen Coralie.
She continues to mock Captain Hook, who starts to regret stealing her when Jake and his crew arrive. Jake states that they're here to take Queen Coralie to a welcoming party in her honor. Captain Hook then tells Jake and his crew to take Coralie, but Cubby knows that it is a trap. Hook then finds a wire, which is one of the booby traps, and he accidentally activates it, collapsing the cave. Izzy then uses her Pixie Dust for Jake and his crew to save the queen and escape the cave before it closes. Coralie mentions that Captain Hook might be horrible, but he can't be left to suffer, and that others must be helped in need. She then opens the cave with her tail before returning to the Never Sea. Captain Hook thanks Coralie for lending a fin and helping and apologizes for keeping her a prisoner. Coralie forgives him, and pronounces Hook's name correctly before returning to Hidden Cove.
The welcoming pageant begins there, and it is a success. Jake and his crew then give Queen Coralie the gifts, and she says that they have given her the greatest gift of all: her freedom. Coralie has gifts for Jake and his crew. The Purple Octopus then provides them with the gifts, making them Honorary Royal Guards. They have earned the respect and gratitude of the Mermaid Queen, and it ain't easy. Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put all their gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Skully never got to give her gift to the queen, which is crackers.
Back aboard the Jolly Roger, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones talk about how great Queen Coralie is. Captain Hook tells them to get back to work when the hammerhead shark starts pounding on the ship, causing it to leak and sink.
