The Island of Bell is a large island located far off the shores of Never Land on a active volcano featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. The Golden Bell is guarded by a fearsome fire breathing dragon.
Role in the series[]
The Island of Bell first appeared in the episode special "Jake Saves Bucky". After Jake and his crew sneak aboard the Jolly Roger with the help of Peter Pan, they retrieve the other half of the Pirate Code Scroll from sleeping Captain Hook. They learn that if they can retrieve the golden bell, Bucky would be theirs once more. Peter, Jake, Izzy, Cubby, and Skully fly to the Island of Bell, fighting wind currents as they land on the island, they travel on foot to a stone arch, near a glow which Jake previously spotted on the mountain. However, Peter is nearly burnt alive by a fiery breath from the dragon. Not wanting to give up, the pirate team forms a plan' Peter and Jake will distract the dragon, whilst Izzy, Cubby, and Skully will retrieve the golden bell. They spring their plan into action, singing What Makes A Hero. Peter and Jake managed to out wit the dragon causing him into chasing his own tail within the tunnels of the Island of Bell.Izzy and Cubby find the Golden Bell, and fly up to the tree, grabbing the bell. With the help of Pixie Dust, the crew flies the bell back to Bucky.

In the Disney Junior online game "Jake's Heroic Race" Peter and Jake are both playable during the final phase, distracting the dragon from the Island of Bell.
In the Disney Junior app game Jake's Treasure Trek Jake set off to save Never Land from darkness to recover Tinker Bell's magical lantern hidden somewhere on Lava Tiki Island before Captain Hook can get his hooks on it. Lava Tiki Island is modeled after the Island of Bell.
