Plot
Skully appears from the hideout and states that it's another beautiful day when the hideout malfunctions. Jake, Izzy, and Cubby notice it, and Jake notices that the noise is coming from the engine bay, which is where all the gizmos are that make the hideout work, and if they're broken, anyone can get in the hideout. Jake and his crew then head to find out what's wrong. Cubby then finds out that the hideout's main spring is wound up too much, and as a result, nothing in the hideout or on Pirate Island is working right.
With the Danger Zone gauge almost at yellow, Jake and his crew try to loosen the spring to no avail. Meanwhile, Captain Hook tells Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones to search every inch of Pirate Island until they find treasure. However, part of the hideout shoves Captain Hook, who blames Mr. Smee for that. Eventually, Bones notices it, and Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Sharky, and Bones are sent down a trapdoor and end up in the hideout.
Captain Hook is delighted to be in the hideout, and finds himself in Cubby's coconut collection. He then throws the coconut he's holding, causing the others to roll him away. Meanwhile, Jake and his crew still have no luck in loosening the spring. The Danger Zone gauge then reaches yellow just as they hear Captain Hook in their hideout. They decide to abandon their hideout while taking Captain Hook and his crew with them.
Jake and his crew then bump into Mr. Smee, and tell him to leave right away. Mr. Smee decides to warn Captain Hook, although he will continue to search for treasure. Meanwhile, Captain Hook finds Sharky and Bones in different parts of the hideout when he gets slingshotted into a contraption and hung up by ropes afterwards. Jake's crew and Mr. Smee hear this, and Sharky and Bones come to the rescue, suffering the same fate as Captain Hook as a result.
With the gauge in the red zone, Jake's crew and Mr. Smee decide to rescue Captain Hook, Sharky, and Bones. However, Jake, Izzy, and Cubby get tripped up by the malfunctioning gadgets, and Mr. Smee catches Cubby. Izzy notices Captain Hook, Sharky, and Bones trapped, and uses her Pixie Dust for Jake's crew to rescue them. Jake warns Captain Hook for everyone to leave the hideout immediately, but he refuses to leave without getting treasure. He then decides to touch the spring, although Jake and Cubby are against it. With the hideout about to blow, everyone leaves, and when Captain Hook refuses, he gets flung all over the engine bay until he fixes the spring, saving the hideout as a result. Captain Hook tells Jake and his crew to hand over all of their treasure, but Jake notices that Captain Hook's crew are standing on a drain, and Skully washes them out of the hideout.
Jake and his crew then put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Skully then proves that the hideout is working again when he tests a machine that gives him a cracker. Meanwhile, Captain Hook orders his crew to find a way back into the hideout. He then trips on a booby trap which sends him flying back onto the Jolly Roger.
