On Pirate Island, Skully finds a hat washed up on the shore. He gives it to Jake, and he, Izzy, and Cubby know that it belongs to Captain Hook. Jake decides to return Captain Hook's hat back to him, however Izzy, Cubby, and Skully at first disagree with Jake,as Captain Hook always takes their stuff and never gives anything back, but Jake reminds his crew that they're not like Captain Hook, so they agree to return the hat back to him.
On the Jolly Roger, Mr. Smee is mopping the deck when Captain Hook ask him where his hat is, as he can't find it anywhere. Sharky and Bones bring out the hat rack, but Captain Hook doesn't like any of those hats. He wants his own hat back, and he spots Jake and his crew with it, thinking they must have stolen it. Mr. Smee assumes Jake and his crew found Hook's hat and are returning it, but Captain Hook refuses to believe it.
While Captain Hook's crew attempt to hoist the anchor, Mr. Smee sends Captain Hook into a catapult, which launches him into Never Land, which Izzy, Cubby, and Skully notice. Jake spots Captain Hook on a jungle tree. Captain Hook orders his crew to get him down, and Sharky and Bones do a "bop and drop".
Once Captain Hook is on the ground, he and Mr. Smee hear Jake and his crew coming and hide. While Jake, Izzy, and Cubby search for Captain Hook, Cubby hears someone from behind a bush and runs with Jake following him. Once they meet up with Izzy and Skully, Jake wonders where Captain Hook could have gone. Cubby sees that the map Jake's crew are on goes to Sailor Swamp.
Once there, Jake and his crew use a giant palm leaf like a boat to get across. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee soon arrive, and Captain Hook sinks while Mr. Smee saves the hat. Jake and his crew spot the Jolly Roger when Captain Hook and Mr. Smee arrive. Jake returns the hat to Captain Hook while reassuring him that it's no trick and it's the right thing to do. Captain Hook refuses to believe it, so Izzy uses her Pixie Dust on Jake's crew with Jake dropping the hat on Captain Hook.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Skully then arrives with pirate hats for Jake, Izzy, and Cubby. On the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook vows to get his hat back when Mr. Smee interrupts him, stating his hat has returned. Captain Hook tells Mr. Smee it's not polite to interrupt.
