Plot
Jake and the crew are riding Bucky across the Never Desert to celebrate the Pirate Mummy's 1000th birthday. Skully mentions that the Pirate Mummy will love the birthday gifts prepared for him. Meanwhile, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are taking the Treasure Dredger to make sure they find valuable buried valuables. Mr. Smee decides for them turn back, as they passed Sand Shark Rock, which marks Sand Shark territory. Just then, one of the Sand Sharks breaks the rake of the Treasure Dredger. It then chases Captain Hook and Mr. Smee across the Never Desert.Meanwhile, the Pirate Mummy welcomes Jake and his crew to his 1000th birthday party. Cubby and Izzy like what is set up. The best part is that the Pirate Mummy will finally get the surprise of the Mummy's Tomb. He states that when the shadow on a sundial reaches the birthday marker, the ankh on his birthday cake will be lit and his surprise will be revealed.
Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are still trying to get rid of the Sand Shark. They eventually do so when they hide behind a rock. They then see a tent which they can hide in. They make it there just as the Pirate Mummy is about to play birthday games with Jake and his crew. However, Captain Hook is still running away from the Sand Shark, and Mr. Smee mentions what happened. Izzy decides for them to get the Sand Shark away from the party. So, Cubby decides to use his gift, which is a coconut carving, and place it on Captain Hook's hat.
As the Sand Shark still chases Captain Hook, Cubby flings Captain Hook's hat with the coconut carving for the Sand Shark to chase. When it comes back with the hat, Izzy decides to use her gift, which is a conch shell, for the Pirate Mummy to play like a horn, scaring the Sand Shark away. Just then, the sundial reaches the birthday marker, lighting up the ankh and revealing the surprise of the Mummy's Tomb to be the Silver Sand Sweeper, which is an ancient ship for sailing the desert sands.
Captain Hook overhears this and takes the ship for himself, with Mr. Smee joining in, despite warnings from Jake. So, Jake uses his gift, which is a sand surfboard, marking the perfect time for the Pirate Mummy to learn to surf, with Jake and his crew joining in. As they chase Captain Hook, the Sand Shark reappears and chases them. So, the Pirate Mummy uses his bandages as a lasso to attach himself to the Silver Sand Sweeper. Cubby then sees through his map that they are in Sand Shark territory, and if the shark is led to his home, he'll stay there so Jake and his crew can get away in one piece.
The Pirate Mummy then takes Jake and his crew to his ship, where they confront Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Once there, Jake leads the ship to Sand Shark Rock, where it is quickly surrounded by more sand sharks. Since it is an emergency, Izzy uses her Pixie Dust to fly the ship to safety. Mr. Smee thanks Jake and his crew for the help and apologizes for ruining the Pirate Mummy's birthday party. However, the Pirate Mummy loved every minute of it, and it was the most excitement he had in his life. Jake and his crew then wish the Pirate Mummy a happy 1000th birthday.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Izzy reveals that they brought back a ton of leftover cake, with Cubby's slice having a secret chamber filled with coconut frosting. Back on the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook is mad about leaving with no treasure again. He also rejects Mr. Smee's offer of the cake, so Bones is provided it. When Mr. Smee calls for Sharky, Captain Hook mistakes it as a real shark and swims away. Mr. Smee assumes that Captain Hook is not a fan of coconut.
