Plot

While the Pirate Pharaoh tend to the construction of his city,Otaa wander into the Never Land Desert he comes across Dread the Evil Genie's bottle. After releasing the ex-genie from his bottle Otaa wanted to make various wishes to please his the Pirate Pharaoh. Dread regretfully informs Otaa, he is now powerless and the mummy cat loses interest and returns to the Pirate Pharaoh side.

After overhearing that the Pirate Pharaoh has a means of magic with his crook and flail, Dread decides to steal it with Scorpio supporting him. Dread knows that nobody likes scorpions, and Scorpio heads to the Pirate Pharaoh, who is admiring the model of his city, which is buried under mounds of sand. He is about to use his crook and flail to resurrect the city when Scorpio appears, scaring the Pirate Pharaoh so that Dread can take the crook and flail for himself. This gives him the power he longed for once more, and he plans to use them to rule the Never Desert and beyond so that Never Land is turned into a desert.

The Pirate Pharaoh and Otaa are sent into the Never Nile and later tell Jake and his crew about Dread's plan to turn Never Land into a barren desert that he can rule. Dread and Scorpio mention the evil they will do now that Dread has powers again. Jake tells his crew their plan for stopping them and returning the crook and flail to the Pirate Pharaoh. Meanwhile, Dread and Scorpio are admiring the model of a pyramid with Dread's face carved on it. Dread uses the crook and flail to make him and Scorpio fly to the top of the pyramid, and Dread makes his face carved on the pyramid even better.

Dread then sees Jake and his crew coming and uses the crook and flail in an attempt to stop them. Jake and the Pirate Pharaoh agree to take down the pyramid. Bucky then transforms into a digging machine and forms a crack in the pyramid. Dread and Scorpio then fall off, but Dread uses the crook and flail to blast Jake's crew and Bucky away. Jake then concludes that Dread can use the crook and flail to fly and blast anything, but not at the same time. Izzy uses her Pixie Dust on Jake's crew, but Jake mentions that a foolproof plan is needed to get Dread off the ground. The Pirate Pharaoh then takes away Dread's headdress, causing Dread to use the crook and flail to lift himself off the ground. As Dread releases control of the crook and flail, he and Scorpio fall and the Pirate Pharaoh gets his crook and flail back. He uses them to form a river for Dread and Scorpio to land on before thanking Jake and his crew for the help.

Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. Meanwhile, Dread concludes that being a magical pharaoh didn't work out. After Scorpio mentions it, Dread decides to be like a fearsome Never Sea captain in command of his own ship and crew like Captain Hook. Dread is then chased away by Tick-Tock the Crocodile.
