Doubloon Lagoon is a large lagoon in the shape of a huge gold doubloon located in Never Land featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
Role in the series[]
Doubloon Lagoon first appeared in the episode "Pirate Campout" Jake and his crew decided to have a camp out on Never Land and reach Doubloon Lagoon in the morning Captain Hook overhears the sea pups mention Doubloon Lagoon mistaking it for a lagoon that would be filled with gold doubloons he and his crew join Jake and his crew to find the lagoon. Captain Hook falls into Doubloon Lagoon and mistakes the Purple Octopus for the sea monster from Jake's spooky story. Jake and his crew rescue the scared captain from the beast and then head back to Pirate Island.
Doubloon Lagoon reappears in the episode "The Creature of Doubloon Lagoon", while cleaning the Mighty Colossus, Cubby accidentally triggers the ship's signal flare cannon that summoned a mysterious Gill Creature aboard the Mighty Colossus. Later in pursuit of treasure, Captain Hook chases after the Gill Creature to Doubloon Lagoon where he hid a treasure, a golden sword once belonging Captain Colossus. Jake and his crew soon come to the creature aid and Jake is rewarded with Captain Colossus's sword and Gillie the Gill Creature friendship.

Jake's Never Land Pirate School[]
Doubloon Lagoon makes a brief appearance in the episode "Saving Captain Hook", as one of the hazards Jake and his crew had to rescue Captain Hook from as he falls into the lagoon and is chased by the Purple Octopus.

Doubloon Lagoon reappears in the storybook adaption of Pirate Campout. Captain Hook falls into Doubloon Lagoon believing the lagoon is full of Gold Doubloons.
