Plot
Captain Flynn mentions the tale about getting his treasure, a big diamond from a sea lion's tongue. Jake and his crew like it. Cubby is next, and mentions that his most awesome treasure ever was fraught with danger. He tells the story, and Captain Flynn mentions the treasure chest was from a perilous shipwreck. Cubby continues the story, stating that he buried the treasure in a really safe place. He shows the map he drew; first, he crossed a rushing river filled with pirate-chomping sharks, then he passed through Thunder Tunnel where he had to escape from a giant jumping spider, and then he made it to Hidden Peak, where he buried his treasure. It is guarded by a fire-belching cliff dragon. Cubby states that he dodged the flames and his most awesome treasure ever has been safe from sneaky pirates ever since.
Captain Hook overhears this and plans to take it for himself, despite a warning from Bones. Just as Captain Flynn, Jake, Izzy, and Skully applaud Cubby's tale, Captain Hook takes the treasure map for himself and he and his crew go after the treasure. Jake reassures that he and his crew will stop Captain Hook. Cubby states that the perils were from a long time ago, as they might not be as perilous as he remembered. Jake, his crew, and Captain Flynn then go for the treasure.
Captain Hook and his crew then make it to the rushing river when pirate-chomping sharks appear. Sharky and Bones fall in when the sharks are actually Kissy Fish. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee use a log to block the river while making their way across with Sharky and Bones falling in. Once Jake, his crew, and Captain Flynn make it there, Cubby notices the empty river and notices the sharks leaving which Jake states needing deeper water. Jake and his crew then roll on the log to make the river flow and ride it downstream. Captain Flynn will catch up with them eventually. Jake and his crew then make it to the other side of the river and continue searching for the treasure.
Captain Hook and his crew then arrive at Thunder Tunnel. Once there, Captain Hook gets stuck in a large spiderweb and sees a giant jumping spider. Jake and his crew hear this and decide to help, despite Cubby stating there is no giant spider. Captain Hook and his crew are stuck in a web just as the spider is revealed to be Bones' matey, Harry. Jake and his crew arrive and Jake frees Captain Hook and his crew from the web with his sword. Captain Hook and his crew then continue to Hidden Peak with Jake and his crew giving chase.
Sharky and Bones then dig up the treasure and Bones gives it to Captain Hook just as Jake and his crew arrive. Mr. Smee suggests to leave before the fire-breathing dragon arrives. Captain Hook refuses to believe it, stating that Cubby made everything up. Just then, the dragon arrives, forcing Captain Hook and his crew to retreat. The treasure chest also falls off, so Izzy uses her pixie dust to retrieve it. Captain Flynn then arrives while riding the dragon, and states that the dragons don't live on Hidden Peak; they actually nest in the hot springs east of Mermaid Lagoon. Since Captain Flynn felt like Captain Hook might reach the peak before Jake and his crew, he convinced his pal Belchy to help out. Cubby states that he exaggerated his story a bit, as he wanted to impress Jake, Izzy, and Skully, who know how brave Cubby is. He opens the treasure, which is a marble he named Boomer, his very first extra-big clearie, with a mini-coconut inside. It is valuable because it is important to him.
Back on Pirate Island, Jake and his crew put the gold doubloons they collect into their Team Treasure Chest. Cubby has a new tale to tell, about the day he and his mateys saw a cliff dragon. He hears a belch and wonders if the dragon followed them home when Skully excuses himself, stating that he ate too many crackers. Back on the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook is sad about another lost treasure when he is provided and rejected codfish cream pie. As it is tossed overboard, it lands on Tick-Tock the Crocodile, who chases Captain Hook across the Never Sea.
