Plot
Jake and his crew are bird-watching at Skull Rock when Skully arrives with his friend, Winger, who is introduced to the crew. Skully mentions that Winger is looking for the Golden SkyBird Treasure. Jake and his crew read the note sent to Winger, stating that the treasure is at the wooden bird statue on SkyBird Island, which Winger has been unable to find. Jake and his crew decide to help. Cubby doesn't spot SkyBird Island on his map, with Jake assuming that it is in the sky. The crew then heads to the island, using Izzy's Pixie Dust.
On the Jolly Roger, Mr. Smee is giving Captain Hook a day off from treasure hunting. Captain Hook sees Jake and his crew flying around, with Mr. Smee assuming that they are looking for treasure in the sky. Captain Hook pulls out his "Whirly-Hook" and Mr. Smee grabs onto his legs and they take off into the air. Soon, Jake and the crew find SkyBird Island, and find a birdie-playground and the bird statue, which they think contains the treasure. Jake spots Captain Hook and Mr. Smee hiding while disguised as birds. They notice this and also the statue containing the Golden SkyBird Treasure.
As Captain Hook vows to get the treasure first, Jake and his crew find directions to the treasure, stating that they have to climb a pink ladder and slide down the sparkly slide. After they do so, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee arrive. Mr. Smee suggests following the directions, but Captain Hook states that he doesn't have time for that. They take the yellow ladder, and as a result, they fall down a hole with Captain Hook grabbing to one of the island's roots.
Meanwhile, Jake and his crew arrive at the statue. Winger flies up and knocks on a small door. A Wise Old Parrot walks out and says that Princess Winger has returned, with the parrots joining in, and Winger finally realizes that she is the Princess of SkyBird Island, taking on the title her great-great-grandmother took a long time ago. Wise Old Parrot puts a crown on Winger's head and the parrots start singing happily, but just then, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee arrive, seeing Winger as a princess. Captain Hook grabs the crown off her head and starts running away with it. Fortunately, Izzy uses her Pixie Dust on Jake so he can retrieve the crown. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee give chase, but Jake, Skully, and Winger lose them in the clouds. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee bump into one of SkyBird Island's walls, sending them plummeting into a mud river on Never Land.
Skully then puts the crown back on Winger's head. She thanks them for helping her and invites them to visit SkyBird Island any time they wish, and the parrots sing happily again. Jake and his crew return back to Pirate Island to put all the gold doubloons they collected into their Team Treasure Chest. On the Jolly Roger, Captain Hook assumes that SkyBird Island is for the birds as he and Mr. Smee get back to relaxing and forgetting about the treasure hunt. As Mr. Smee adjusts the chair, it sends Captain Hook into the Never Sea.
