Big Tree Forest is a location in Never Land featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. As the name suggests, everything within Big Tree Forest is extremely large.
Role in the series[]
Big Tree Forest first appeared in the episode "Happy Hook Day!" Captain Hook swipes Skully's gifts to have his own birthday celebration on Shipwreck Rock Jake and his crew venture into Big Tree Forest but giant acorns were falling from the massive trees preventing the young pirates from pressing on. Until Izzy had an idea using one of the giant mushrooms as an umbrella they could venture through the forest without fear of being crushed by the giant acorns.
In the episode "Free Wheeling Fun" Captain Hook and Mr. Smee manage to sneak off with Jake and his pirate friends bicycle built for three and flee into the Never Land Jungle. While trying to evade the puny pirates Hook and Smee head into Big Tree Forest.
Big Tree Forest is visited again in the episode "Huddle Up!". Jake and his crew are playing football to improve their skills in teamwork. Captain Hook and his crew think that the football is sure to give them powers to work as a team as well. Jake and his crew go through Big Tree Forest to reach Up 'N' Down Chasm, using the giant acorns from the forest to make the floating land formation-level so they could get safely across.
Big Tree Forest makes a brief cameo in the episode "Night of the Golden Pumpkin". It is featured on Cubby's map as he guides his crewmates to Tiki Forest. Big Tree Forest makes a brief cameo appearance in the episode special "Peter Pan Returns", it can be spotted on Cubby's map as Peter and Jake and his crew try to catch up to the Jolly Roger.

In the episode "The Never Land Jungle Speedway", Jake challenges Captain Hook to a Sail Wagon race across Never Land. The end of the race as well as the magical Pirate Piece is located in Big Tree Forest.
