Personality[]
As an entity made of stone and representative of the very concept of Death, the Anubis Statue is an ominous and foreboding figure who displays no emotion, whatsoever.
Roles in the series[]
The Anubis Statue first appeared in the episode "Rise of the Pirate Pharaoh", where he is brought back to life by the Pirate Pharaoh to free the Never Nile, which was sealed away within a mountain in Pharaoh Valley. Jake and his crew soon confront the giant Anubis, believing that it and the pharaoh mean harm to the Never Land Desert and they attempt to stop them. The Anubis Statue soon sets its eyes upon Jake and his crew, but Bucky proves quick and nimble in his aircraft form for the mighty monster, that soon gives way due to its own might, falling into a pile of rubble of stones. After Jake and his crew defeated the Pharaoh's Anubis from destroying a mountain, the Pirate Pharaoh asks why Jake and his forces are so bent on stopping him. They inform the pharaoh that he is the bad guy, but the Pirate Pharaoh reveals he is not evil and only wishes to restore the waters of the Never Nile to the Pharaoh's Valley. Jake and his crew soon felt remorseful for accusing the Pirate Pharaoh of being a villain and decide to help him restore the Never Nile to make up for their mistake.
